Last week I was in Lucknow. Lucknow is famous for it’s small but well-known food stalls spread through out the city. The gourmet delights of city ranges from Biryani & Kabab to Pasta. Before proceeding to Lucknow most of my friends suggested me to visit Tunday Kababi and Dastarkhwan and taste some thing different.
Really the food is very nice. Tunday Kababi is famous for its Kababs and Parathas. When I reached there, it was jammed packed and there was no place to sit. People were standing outside on street and waiting for tables to vacate.
Somehow I got one corner table, that too I had to share with some one unknown. I asked waiter, for what the place is famous for? He said – Kabab and Parathas.
I asked him to bring one plate kaba and two parathas.
“Bade ka ya chote Ka’’ – asked waiter – I was surprised.
Waiter said – I mean Beef or Mutton
I said – Chote ka
You will not believe! Really Kababs were wonderful. They literally melt as put them in my mouth. It was superb preparation. I can never forget the taste…….

Dasterkhawn behind press club at hazratganj is also good you can try Shami Kabab and Biryani there.
